Bio

Ray Coderre currently serves as Head of Learning and Development at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) where he is responsible for advancing a world class learning and talent development ecosystem to realize the mission and objectives of KAUST and support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

Prior to joining KAUST, Ray was Director of Learning and People Strategy at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, where he led the institute’s approach to talent management and development for approximately 6,000 academic faculty, professional scientists, software engineers, and administrative staff spanning Harvard University, MIT, and the Harvard-affiliated hospitals.

Ray is a former Harvard faculty affairs dean with experience building collaborative research communities comprised of academic faculty, trainees and professional scientists and engineers, and possesses over a decade of experience teaching and advising undergraduate and graduate students at Harvard College and Harvard Extension School on topics at the intersection of science, technology and society.
