Bio

Eng. Sami bin Omar Al-Hussein

An expert in innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation, he has over 25 years of experience. He has held several important positions, including:

  • Assistant Deputy Governor for Information Technology at the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation.
  • Executive Director of the Future Work Program at the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha'at).
  • Deputy Governor at Integrative Holding Company.

He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the United States and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from King Saud University.

He has taken on several leadership roles, most notably:

  • Co-founder of Dhikrat.
  • Co-founder of Madar Manchester.
  • Innovation Partner at Dar Masarat.
  • CEO of Atyaf Innovation.
  • Deputy CEO for Entrepreneurship at Elm Company.
  • Deputy Governor for Supporting Enterprises at Monsha'at.
  • Executive Director of the Future Work Program and the Bahar Platform.
  • Led the digital transformation file at the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation.
  • Established the "Rawaq" and "Maharah" platforms for open education and training.

He has contributed to the design and development of several national initiatives and projects, the most important of which include supporting the entrepreneurship ecosystem, launching e-commerce platforms, and establishing the Nawa Social Investment Fund, making him one of the prominent figures in the fields of digital transformation and entrepreneurship.
