Dr. Alghalyini completed her Board then Fellowship with the College of Family Physicians of Canada, earned a Master of Health Science (MHSc)from the University of Toronto, and completed her residency training in Family Medicine at St. Michael’s Hospital, University of Toronto.
Among her achievements, she founded the Centre for Innovation Partnership & Community Engagement (CIPC) and Alfaisal Wellness and Health Office (AU-WHO).She was awarded the Faculty Awards for Research Excellence and the Helen Batty Award for Excellence in Program Development and Design both in 2024.
Her research interests include social determinants of health, global health, and equitable preventive care. She has published extensively on topics such as chronic disease management, and health promotion.
