Dr. Heba Khoshaim is vice-president of the women’s campus and associate professor in the College of Humanities and Sciences at Prince Sultan University (PSU). She has a BSc in mathematics. She completed her MSc in mathematics from the University of Ottawa, and a PhD in mathematics education from Ohio University. Her research focuses on the teaching and learning of mathematics at the collegiate level. She has published on students’ transition from school level to tertiary level, assessment of students learning, and the use of interactive real-world problems to foster understanding. As an educator and administrator, she is involved in the university processes to address and support the SDGs, including gender equality. In that, she participated in several conferences, session, and workshops to raise awareness about gender equality and showcase the university’s efforts in that regard.
