An award-winning teacher and scholar and one of the thought leaders in the field of entrepreneurial leadership, Dr Muhammad Azam Roomi brings to his teaching and research 20+ years of experience in helping entrepreneurial leaders survive and grow, including six ventures he co-founded and four he sold after scaling them up.
Professor Roomi's research and consulting have spanned a broad range of countries including the UK, Germany, UAE, Qatar, Malaysia, Bangladesh, and Pakistan.
At MBSC, Dr Roomi has taught MBA, EMBA, and executive courses, and has mentored a number of entrepreneurs and leaders contributing to the development of KSA. He has been the team leader for the KSA - Global Entrepreneurship Monitor Report (GEM) since 2016.
In addition to his academic research and teaching, Professor Roomi serves as an advisor to senior leaders at leading companies around the world and has been a director of both public and private company boards.
