Katia A. Chacra is a visionary school leader who firmly believes in leading with empathy and strives for excellence in all her endeavors.
Having completed her A-Levels in the UK, Katia pursued a BA in English Literature from the prestigious American University of Beirut (AUB). She furthered her academic qualifications by obtaining an MA in Educational Leadership and Management from Liverpool John Moores University.
Over the course of twenty-seven years, Katia has held various roles, such as English Head of Department, Academic Director, and Deputy Principal and Director General.
Her constant quest for excellence, combined with her ability to empower and inspire others, positions her as a catalyst for transformative change within the school communities she leads.
In her current role Katia is spearheading the transformation of SIS into a leading institution that prepares students to excel in the rapidly changing global landscape.
