Bio

Jeff Macdonald is IBM's CSR Leader for EMEA, working with regional partners to grow IBM’s social impact by applying their technology resources and expertise to societal problems and opportunities in communities across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Specific areas of focus include:
•Education, particularly in STEM subjects.
•Empowering students, job seekers, and entrepreneurs with access to skills and bridge to employment opportunities.
•Technology for social impact, creating innovative solutions for a better world

Jeff brings over 30-years of senior management experience from marketing leadership positions with global multi-nationals such as Nestle/General Mills, Bacardi, Nokia and IHG.

Prior to joining IBM, Jeff was a partner at two global social impact consultancies, supporting organisations such as Unilever, Reckitt, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Aviva and Allianz develop and activate their purpose, both internally and externally.

Jeff holds a Masters degree in Economics from Edinburgh University. He is married with two children.
