Dr. Marina Guo is a consultant and researcher based in Canada with roots in China & the UK. She has rich business experiences in cultural creative industries and talent development practices across multiple countries including China, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Marina has served as the DBA Supervisor at Shanghai Jiaotong – Otago University, Co-founder of Quebec-Shanghai Digital Creativity Platform, Advisor of World Cities Culture Forum, Rotating Chair of China Culture Innovation Service Alliance, Career Mentor at University of Toronto. In her 9-year academic career at Shanghai Theatre Academy and her role as the Founder & President of Huashan Multiversity, Marina has turned her passion and inter-sectorial expertise into capacity-building talent development program and mentoring services to multiple stakeholders. Dr. Guo has advised a range of clients on the development of creative economy, research innovation, cultural planning & placemaking and skill development. Marina holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Master of Arts. |
