Raneem Medhat, Head of Education at Spacetoon, is a visionary leader with over a decade of experience driving societal change and unlocking potential across the Middle East and Africa (MEA). With a belief in the transformative power of education, she leads multimillion-dollar initiatives that have upskilled millions of youths.
Raneem began her career at Microsoft MEA Philanthropies and most recently served as Senior Regional Manager for Societal Impact at Udacity. She has spearheaded initiatives such as Hour of Code, Africa Coding for Employment, EdoWorX, and Egypt Future Work is Digital—all focused on preparing young generations for the future of work through education and technology, under the patronage of ministries, development banks, UN organizations, and global foundations.
Since joining Spacetoon, Raneem has set a mission to impact 5 million young minds by 2030. With Spacetoon’s legacy in engaging younger generations, she believes in Spacetoon Education's power to foster growth, nurture curiosity, and empower the next generation through innovative and impactful educational experiences.
With a background in Computer Engineering and a passion for technology, Raneem has empowered hundreds of nonprofits across the region to scale their impact through technology. She is also passionate about mentoring the next generation, equipping them with the skills needed to build a better future.
