Faiza is a seasoned professional educator with more than 15 years of Middle East experience primarily in education management and wellbeing with inclusion at the top priority. Her current role as the Founding Director of Inclusion/senior leadership at a premium school in Riyadh, coupled with her previous experience as a Senior Academic Advisor and Whole School Counselor in the UAE, with a comprehensive knowledge in teaching, learning, school management, and improvement policies. Additionally, her roles as the Middle & High School Head of Counseling/Inclusion and Well-being Department at Ajial Bilingual School in Kuwait, and the Head of the Counseling Department at Next Generation School in Dubai, have provided her with detailed experience in career development, life skills, and leadership. As the Head of Inclusion, Pastoral Care, and Academic Advisor/Career Counselor, she made sure that every stakeholder was encouraged and motivated through a pre-emptive and restorative support system.
Her expertise encompasses American curriculum (common core) accreditation processes with NEASC, WASC, along with guidance counseling, career counseling, preparing for aptitude tests, calculating GPA, IEP writing, assessments, report writing, and ensuring compliance with the inclusion framework. Her specialty also include creating pathways such as vocational pathway, American advisement pathway for students in order to achieve their academic potentials.
Moreover, she is a communications specialist with a demonstrated history of working in education management, the corporate sector, policy framework drafting, report writing, data analysis, and conducting professional development inset training. She is skilled in social-emotional building, grief counseling, and fostering a positive culture. She an active member and speaker of the International Positive Education Network (IPEN), Wellbeing Education Network (WEN), MENA Women Speakers, and the Business Excellence Summit.
Her academic background includes a Honorary Doctorate of Education from University of Maryland, a Master’s degree in International Education Management from Ludwigsburg University of Education in Germany and an additional Masters degree in Mass Communication.
