Saleh Al-Hammad is a Saudi educator and publisher. He is the Chairman of the Board of the Saudi Publishing Association, the founder of Rashem Cultural, and a co-founder of Qafiyah Cultural.
In 2019, he founded Rashem Publishing and Distribution, which has achieved notable success. Several of its publications have been shortlisted for the International Prize for Arabic Fiction (commonly known as the Arab Booker) for four consecutive years, with two of its works winning the prize in consecutive years. Rashem has since expanded into an active literary agency, attracting prominent names in the cultural scene with the aim of broadening the reach of its literary productions globally.
In 2022, Saleh Al-Hammad co-founded Qafiyah Cultural Café, aiming to promote culture and creativity within Saudi society, particularly in the Northern Borders region and the city of Arar.
This session is a reflection on “The Literary Partner” , an initiative launched by the Saudi Ministry of Culture, to effectively and skilfully activate café’s as cultural hubs in order to spread culture and literature through interesting interactive experiences.
The session highlights the role of King Khalid Military College in shaping leadership qualities through systematic military education. It focuses on the approach the college takes to foster leadership development by integrating lifelong learning strategies with tactical military skills, strategic thinking, ethical decision-making, and personal growth.
