Yasmine has seventeen years of management experience in the field of higher education in Egypt and the region. She started her career in the Education USA Center services in Egypt; co-managing the Ford Foundation's International Fellowship Program (IFP). She later focused her career on university management, gaining years of experience in the fields of graduate student services, outreach and recruitment, and the management of externally funded programs for key regional and international donors and foundations, such as the Tokyo Foundation, the Nadhmi Auchi Foundation, and currently, a key U.S. Department of State funded program in the Middle East.
Yasmine is passionate about the merge between international education and development, and has completed a Master’s degree in development studies, with a thesis-focus on Community Engagement, Civic Participation, and Advancing Social Capital through and in Education. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, playing with her toddler son, and helping animals in need.
